Ran across these pictures from a piece from last years Fall Barn Sale.
The buffet has since sold.
It may be one of those pieces that leaves me with a little sellers remorse,
(just a little) :)
I usually prefer painted furniture over natural wood 95% of the time.
But sometimes a piece calls for paint and some wood and I never regret when I go to the extra work of refinishing a top with a stain and showing the original beauty of the wood.
I hope whoever bought it is enjoying it.
The stain is a Varathane Dark Walnut and the paint is a custom color I mixed up.
Thank you for sharing your fun ideas in such an accessible, DIY format! I am inspired. My husband and I just moved into a house twice the size of our previous home and needless to say, we have some extra room to occupy. Your ideas seem like affordable, fun solutions to the furniture we stuffed into our garage in 1980s embarrassment. Thanks, again! I wish I was in Idaho!
